I released this message off of Breezy Pt. in Brooklyn.
We put in at Plumb beach and paddled out to the point.
We wanted to go surfing, but the conditions weren't making any surf, which we expected. It was still a very pretty and windy day. The current was flooding the whole time, so the wind waves didn't generate any surf.
Truth:
It's always windy at Plumb Beach.
