 We launched at finfolk food and paddled over across the bay to blooming point Beach. 

Wind was from the south so it was fairly protected and we went out to the ocean side. 

We had a chill day drinking snacking and hanging out on the beach. 

I was out of waterproof paper so I wrote the message on one of my fake $100 bills. 

Truth: some areas are more sensitive than others

Wind was from the south so there was no surf this week of every time the tides just right to ride out on the ebb and  in on the flood.

The days are so long here even at 7:00 p.m. it was still sunny but casting Long shadows.

I got the kayaks out of storage and did a paddle down the coast.

Weather was perfect low 70s and no wind.

I stopped at a pocket beach to do some beach combing. I only took one buoy, but there were a lot of choices!

Its often very windy here, but on this day it was fairly still. I saw a school of really big stripped bass. Time to get a fishing license!

There was a cormorant rookery up on the cliffs. The babies are getting big and should be on their own soon.

Truth: you only leave the nest once

I was kayaking in the East river. We went north to East river State Park them headed south looking for standing waves against the current.

We were early for Castle William but saw a few in the buttermilk channel.

One highlight was a vendor who really went the extra mile to sell us some smoothies. 

Water was 52 air 75.

Truth: there is always someone who goes farther.

 We were kayaking off of Ft DeSoto park

We did a circumnavigation of Egmont Key. The wind and surf picked up on the way back so we really had to work for the last half hour.

We saw two huge turtles that seemed to be mating on the return. The largest must have been 4ft across.

Truth: a bridge is a connector

 I released this message in Baja South of Ensanada. I was back here after a 2 year Hiatus.  Everything was about the same stunning scenery good friends, great food.

We have done trips on both sides of La Bufadora this week. 

Swell has been pretty big most days. I paddled a long way out to release the bottle hopefully it will go a long way 

I forgot to turn Strava on after lunch so an hour or so is missing from the track

Unfortunately I have a lot of work to do this week so I was stuck in this corner office. 

But I did do some paddling. I wasn't feeling great and was very conservative.
